Napkin Folding
Wild Orchid
- This design looks best in a conical glass but can be adapted for a
wider-based container. Although it takes a little more practice than
most, it is worth the effort. First lay the napkin flat and fold it in
three lengthwise. Position it as shown, with the free edge on top.
- Take hold of the top left and right hand corners of the napkin with
the index finger and thumb of each hand. Roll the corners diagonally
towards you as shown.
- Still holding the napkin, continue to roll the corners inwards in
one sweeping movement by sweeping both hands and napkin down, up and
over until your hands are together palms uppermost. By now the napkin
should be rolled into two adjacent flutes. Place the napkin in a glass,
arranging it neatly.
