Language

English is fairly widely understood and spoken in the tourist areas of Thailand, particularly in Bangkok. European languages such as German, Swiss and Italian are spoken in most hotels, and some hotels have Japanese language speakers. Bilingual Thai / English road signs are found throughout the country.
