Getting to the Hotel from the Airport

From the airport in Bangkok, there are several modes of transportation to Pattaya:

Transfers on Arrival at Don Muang Airport

Limousine one-way fare by Airport limousine is approximately 1,500 Baht, located at the Donmung Airport and by Amari Orchid Resort’s Limousine is baht 2,200 and

Airport bus one-way fare is approximately 200 baht. There are both buses and vans. Times are 6:30am, 2pm & 6:30pm to Bangkok and return 9am, 12noon and 7pm to Pattaya from Don Mung Airport. They have their booth and waiting lounge inside the airport (arrival).

Meter taxi one-way fare is about 1,200 Baht.

Air-conditioned bus (Duration 2 1/2 hrs.) you can take the VIP air-conditioned bus. Departure from the Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai) to the Pattaya Bus Station on North Pattaya Rd. Daily at 05.00 hrs. and every 30 minutes until 22.00 hrs. One way fare: approximately 77 Baht. Departure from the Northern Bus Terminal (Mor Chit) to the Pattaya Bus Station on North Pattaya Rd. daily at 05.00 hrs. and every 30 minutes until 19.00 hrs. One way fare: approximately 77 Baht.Departure from the Bangkok Airport to Pattaya daily at 9.00, 12.00 and 19.00 hrs. One way fare: approx. 180 Baht Reservation: Thai Airway, arrival lounge.

Train There is a train leaving the Bangkok Railway Station (Hualamphong) to Pattaya daily at 7.00 hrs.

For those who wish to travel with more comfort, a private limousine, car or van transfer with a driver is recommended. All prominent car rental companies (e.g. AVIS, BUDGET and others) are also represented at the Airport. Making prior arrangements from abroad, is highly recommended, since this service is much in demand and their fleet limited.  For 'self-drive' one is expected to have an International Driving License.
