"Nightspots" Near the Hotel

There are good selection of restaurants in Chiang Mai offering everything from traditional northern cuisine to European favourites.

Particularly pleasant is an evening at one of the bars and restaurants over looking the Ping River. Many of these have live bands and you can dine with a view out over the river. These are open from 6 pm until 2 am.

Also, donˇt miss Chiang Maiˇs famous night bazaar for some gifts to take back home. The market is approximately ten minutes from the hotel by car and offers a variety of Thai and Northern Thai goods and all sorts of crafts but be sure to bargain with the prices and donˇt pay what is asked at first.

In addition, there are a lot of restaurants in the area and the food market opposite the night bazaar gives you a great opportunity to try out different northern Thai foods from the little stalls.
