Getting to the Hotels from the Airport
An Amari representative is on duty at the
airport from 06.00 - 24.00 and can be identified by the Amari Hotels &
Resorts sign. You can leave the luggage pick-up area passing through the
custom and in out of GATE B for international flights or GATE A for
domestic flights.
Alternatively, to reach the city centre hotels, 'Taxi Meters' are
always available and awaiting passengers outside the Arrival Hall exit.
The total cost will vary according which hotel you are going to and
whether there is a tollway fee, but should generally not exceed 400
Baht.
There is also an air-conditioned Airport Bus which can take you to the
City. There are various routes and buses. This option is less recommended
since it could take up to two hours to reach the centre of the city,
depending on the number of stops planned during the trip.
All prominent Car Rental Companies (e.g. AVIS, BUDGET and others) are
also represented at the Airport. To make prior arrangements, from abroad,
is highly recommended, since this service is much in demand and their
fleet limited in numbers of vehicles. For 'self-drive' one is expected to
produce an International Driving License.
